MTW's model is to undertake and advance complex applied research for the benefit of society through collaborative engagement of private and public enterprises. By bringing the voice of the customer and appropriate business process rigor into the academic lab, we aim to focus applied research and product development in support of ASU's Design Imperatives of the New American University.
Act as a strategic hub for Centers-of-Excellence that are comprised of outstanding scientists, researchers and product development experts, collaboratively advancing complex applied research projects in partnership with the 'outside' world.
Educate faculty, researchers and students about industrial quality, development and compliance issues; educate industry management about technology developments, research directions and innovation.
